Purchased a car kit for my sat. radio recently and couldn't use it right away due to the 94' radio being OLD and wouldn't quickly adapt to the new stuff. Hit up Advanced Auto and bought a 3 way outlet (ranger only has one), and wireless FM booster thingy. Got everything together JUST IN TIME for the "Undisputed Leader of the New School", Andrew Wilkow on channel 125 Patriot Radio! Now I can enjoy some Rational Thought while out on the road.:headbang::yahoo:

I've has Sirius since about 2005 and will never go back. I'm a trucker so it's indispensable.

Stern, Ellis, road dog trucking radio, metal, country, alternative, etc. all at my fingertips and never interrupted with static.

Sent from my iPhone.

I have Sirius in my Ranger, so far I have had too much going on to activate it. In the summer I usually have a Ranger related project going on that takes it off the road. They do give you Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends for free which is neat.

When I do get it there is an older country station I really like, a lot of 80's and 90's stuff. I really can't stand talk radio...

If U are a conservative minded person I'd HIGHLY suggest listening to Andrew Wilkow on 125 from 12 noon to 3pm. It will blow your mind. If U are a progressive communist...well...listen and maybe you will form a brain cell.

I am just not into hearing people talk on the radio when I am driving. Especially when they are ranting about something.

It is either music or exhaust/tires/wind. :icon_thumby:

Me too, FM is just fine with me. I put a CD in about three times a year, never have it on at home. I know, old school.

Always wanted sat. radio in my newer truck, just never had the money for it, and its an extra expense I don't need, now that I'm confined to around town I'm glad I didn't put the money out for the equipment and subscription.

Those who are on the road for long periods of time I can understand having it but for my 10 minute trip to and from work I have absolutely no need.

Yeah, I understand fellas. When I get on my ATV I just want to hear the engine roar, tires slinging dirt and trees whizzing by at high speed. Guys who put stereos in their ATV's annoy me due to similar reasons. Last thing I want to hear when in the woods it Justin Beiber cranked from some A hole with a loud stereo.:icon_rofl: I do love my XM radio though. I only get a few FM stations where I live that actually come in without static. I've been in more developed areas that have a chit load of FM stations, but up here in the sticks...FM sucks donkey balls. XM is the ONLY way to go.

That is Rush Limbaugh's time slot, I'll miss most of the show!

Those of you who listen to talk radio, like Rush Limbaugh and other's, do you find yourselves having mood problems? Just wondering if its just me or if anyone else has different mood problems after listening to those talk shows all the time. I had to quit listening to them because my mood was always so negative after listening to those types of shows all the time.

Ignorance it bliss. Knowledge is like meat processing...the more U know about it the less likely U are to eat it. I enjoy rational debate. Mood problem? Not at all.

Maybe something else work related then, just happened to be I was listening to Rush all the time LOL. Maybe I'll start listening again oops wait, I can't don't have a radio in my B2.

I usually run off a USB drive, no receptions issues, no commercials and no stupid DJ's. :icon_thumby:
