Should The New Ranger Look Like The F-150?

TO me, I can see a slight resemblance to the F-150 through the diffferent model years. Seems to me like Toyota has changed their full size design to mimic the F-150 over the past few years. Like they are trying to fool someone into thinking it's an F-150.

They did replace the Econoline, they ran that van into the ground a long time ago.

Yeah, they replaced it with more unibody, europeon garbage. The econoline may of been long in the tooth (as was the vic) but they were both proven platforms that fleets could rely on. Not changing much for 20 years makes installation of aftermarket things a breeze, as in the same cargo rack you bought in 1992 for your new econoline fleet would bolt directly into your 2014.

Because the fact it lacks a ladder type frame and to a lesser extent Twin I Beam itll never be as rugged as an econoline.
