should i get this Ranger?

First off I'm 16 and going to be getting my first car soon. My Dad's friend has a 2005 Ford Ranger Edge with the larger 4.0 engine. I ride dirt bikes and love being outdoors, and if I get it want to make it into a prerunner style. I was just wondering if it is built for offroad already or will need lots of work. If I get it I will probably get a Fabtech lift and maybe 32's? Will that be enough or what else will I need. I will include a picture of the truck, also if I choose to get it, it will be 5k.

Also the truck only has 18k miles on it!!! And it is perfect condition.
