So I've been reading threads for the last few nights, and have completely printed out the tech section....

I have a line on a D44 from a '79 Bronco. I know it's a full width, but I was thinking about shortening it, so it's not so wide (I run some narrower trails and like to follow the jeeps around southern alberta). I was just going to take 6" out of the long side. Now...here comes my question... I know it has the cast wedges, will the wedges be fine that close to the knuckles? I'm thinking about just using a Cage offroad radius arm kit for the swap.

I have no issues with the fab, just never done this before. I will be working in a suspension shop so I'll have someone helping me, I just want to be sure I've got everything lined up to start...
