I got an '06 4.0 4x4, and just ordered the Superlift 4" kit, and Im tryin to figure out what tires to get.. I want 33's on soft 8's, but the look that I want is that squatty stance, that looks all aggressive with the tires stickin way out, and im just wonderin what you think would be best to create that look, like what size tires.

33x13.50r15 LTB's perhaps?

You looking for radials or bias ply?

i was thinkin bout the bias ply.. super swampers on summit are only 165 a tire, which aint bad compared to a lot of other tires on tehre, with the off set i want

Ive got 33x12.50 on my 97 with 3/ lift and they stick out about an inch

I'm trying to look for a wider stance for my Ranger as well, but still rather tall, I'm going to attemot to get some 35x12.5s and run a 15 inch rim with a -3.65 backspacing and a -46mm offset....I'm hoping this will look a little wider than my current 31x8s and a -3.75 backspacing

I would get 33x14.50x15s on 15x10s using a 4.5" backspacing. These should get you that wide appearance without too much undue strain on your wheelbearings. You might get a slight bit of rubbing on the inside at the frame or swaybar when you turn very sharp however.

+1 on what 4x4junkie said I bet that'd look sick! Don't go too offset cause it definitely kills wheel bearings and I hate the redneck(yes I R one) wannabe wheelers around my town that have so much offset you can see the entire brake assembly, the wheels barely even cover 'em:annoyed:, hideous! I call those trucks stink bugs(round bodies with the legs stuck way out:icon_rofl:) The only time the wheels should be way out of the wells is if you got FS axles under there:icon_thumby: But a lil offset does make a truck look mean:yahoo:
