Took my tires to Walmart and had them mounted. They refused to mount them till I said "there just rollers" all 4 were above the wear bar but one was lower than the Washington legal limit I guess. I haven't drove on them. But how does one get Bbs in there?

Take out the valve and use a funnel to get bbs in there? Then air up. Also what's a good amount? There only 31x10.5x15 on some pretty heavy rims.

Balance the tire. Gets irritating having a bigger tire mounted and over half the rim is covered in weights.

I've heard that using airsoft plastic pellets is easier on the rim.

I would break the bead (lower your truck onto it with the valve stem guts removed) and pour them in.

To reseat the bead put a ratchet strap around the diameter of the tire, and tighten it down. This will allow you to reseat the bead with a hand pump if you wanted to.

I did the BB mod, it does a fair job at best. 18 wheelers use media to balance as it doesn't move around as easy. Media is basically really fine sand. That's my next try...

Rollers shouldn't need balanced...

Seems like the bbs would collect at the spot that's the furthest out of whack, putting even more weight at the last place you'd want it. I've not heard of this method either. Doesn't mean it wouldn't work of course...

yeah, you do it as you are mounting them...

but if they are rollers, why do you need them balanced? if they won't mount them, they are unsafe...period. Be smart about it if you value your life and the life of those on the streets.

oh and tires like MTZ that have large Ribs inside the tire.... don't use airsoft bb's lol. It gets intense like that.

There not rollers. All 4 are above the wear bar. But one is below what Walmart requires they have. I was going to buy tires last payday... then I got fired. Now the truck has a flat. And I have no more of those size tires. Got an interview next week so I need it driveable. She refused to mount them till I said there just rollers.

And there 31x10. 5x15 on a 10 wide rim. Guy was using a cheetah and had problems getting them mounted. So me breaking the bead is a nono. Its only a temporary setup till I get iether unemployment or a job. My unemployment decision will get back to me soon. Then I can buy tires

If that's the case then through the valve stem they go. I feel ya, up until a year ago I always ran whatever fit and just made sure she was topped off on oil ;)

I don't think they'll fit in the valve steam unless you remove the entire thing.... then you need the to break the bead to put a steam in it...

Dude I would just go to a real shop and have them balance your tires. IDK if it's because walmart is always getting sued or what but, it seems them are always looking for a reason to refuse to touch tires. They refused to sell me tires once stating, "We cant touch your tires until you get whatever suspension issue you have taken care of." Well I had bad balljoints and had just recently replaced them. I even showed the guy parts receipts and he still refused. So I went to Discount...
