Hi. I just bought a new set of brake shoes and after getting the old ones off I noticed a differece in the old and new shoes. The metal frame of the shoe is the same size but the "pads" on the shoe are much shorter on the new ones.
I have taken into account the fact that there is a "long" shoe and a "short" shoe.
My question is: Did I get handed the wrong part at the store or are there non-essential differences between shoes sometimes? Thanks for any help.
