Shocks????

I want to put 4 new shocks in my 1991 Ranger XLT 4.0 with the front and rear stabalizer bars. I drive alot on the road, highway mostly and i take my truck in the woods about once a week. I want good shocks with a good price around $100 for all 4. napa has them for 27 bucks a pop. does anyone know if the brand matters or what shocks to stay away from? any input would be apprishiated.

many of the cheaper brands seeem to made by Gabriel. i've always had good luck with them. just keep in mind that you are getting what you pay for... ok shocks, not great shocks. just my $.02.
