I have a 99 Ranger that keeps breaking lower shock mounts. I'm using the stock sized Gabriel shocks. Currently I'm pissed at them because the mount broke on one side then tore through the boot on the front axle. Please tell me there is a better shock for a torison bar lifted truck because I'm breaking these shocks at least once every six months.

your truck's lifted and your using stock lenth shocks?.....tell how us how your truck is lifted and how you expcet to use it,and we may be able to recomend some shocks that "fit"

The torsion bars have been tourqed more than stock so it gives me about an inch to two inches of lift. The back has two inch blocks on the leafsprings, but I've never had any issues with the rear shocks. I use if for hill climbs, trails, jumping dunes, and a little mud when there is rain. More than anything I use it to get up icy roads to go snowboarding. I'm only using stock shocks because the autoparts store "could not look up the part any other way." So If I can get a part # that would be awesome.
