ok i was gonna run a set of 14in foxs on the rear of my b2 from spring plate to a hoop. but the rear seat is posing an issue. its in the way, so im lookin for other options for the rear shock set up. any input would be great. im not stuck on running the 14s, the guy I got them from has about every length I could need. and is willling to swap the ones I have if there too long. thanks in advance every one.

This may be a dumb question, but i am curious because I really like your b2. Youre not gonna have the shocks on the stock locations right? If not, where about do they end up on the back seat?

Hoops, as in through the floor board I'm assuming.

You can set the shocks at any angle you choose, but IMO, I dont think 14" travel shocks will be long enough for you..

yeah threw the body is what i was thinking or both facing forward under the back seat/bed, but dont wanna limit travel with shock length. I took some measurements this mornin, i think im lookin at 16s or 17s. I have roughly 9in of up travel and about 8-9in down travel, not limited. it will straped when all is said and done but im not sure how much down travel I should limit it to. Ive only done pick ups in the past and usually about 5-6in down travel is adequate for "mid travel". Do O need more than that? the guy i got the shock from has a set of 17in bilstein resis I can trade for they are like 9100 series or somthin like that. Adequate shock for my ap?

87anger no im wanting to relocate either the drivers side forward or mounting them from the spring plate into the cargo area behind the rear seat.

91 series shocks are great shocks. 17" travels is a little insane. I would limit uptravel to around 5-6" if you're jumping it. You'll need some HD bumpstops or gas charged bumpstops though ( $$ )

Oh ok. Seems to me that you would be better off moving the drivers side forward. That way your shocks are down further(not as much in the cab) and you could make it look pretty clean. But im not sure which mounting direction would be better for axle movement.
