I bought this 92 ranger xlt offroad as is. The shocks are 4 different kind and one of the threads was stripped on the front. It calls for H7055 skyjacker shocks but before changing out all 4 to get a matching set I am looking for advice on some others for a smoother rides. Bumpy roads are like sitting ina vibrating chair with a kid kicking it. Any ideas, would like to stay around the 100 per shock mark if possible. The 7055's are like 38 from jegs.

Oh forgot to mention, it has a 2.9 V-6, 6 inch suspension lift running maxis mudder 33x12.50's.

Yeah saw those at Autozone today, not being a big shock person didnt really known how they would measure upnto the quality of skyjackers. I just know I see a lot of trucks running the skyjackers, maybe because of the price, idk

Bilsteins are probably the best shock you can buy. That's what I am going to get when the time comes for new ones.

Bilstein for sure. Other shocks try and measure up to the quality of Bilstein. You wont be disappointed.

That may be true, but I wouldn't consider Fox/Kings unless I was racing or building a dedicated rig. For what I use if for I think Bilsteins would be best.
