Sometimes when I am at a traffic light it is hard for me to put my 91 2.0 in gea Its mostly first gear but this morning I had to fight to get it in any gear. Any insight into what may be wrong? Thanks.

Thanks, My idle has been high lately. I'll check the fluid this weekend. I appreciate it.A couple of things to check...what is your idle RPM...if it's too high, it won't synch properly...is your clutch cylinder, perhaps, emerging a bit too far from the firewall...like the firewall is rotting out (happened to mine)...have you topped up the clutch fluid lately?
And when was the last time you checked your tranny fluid? On the manual tranny it's easy enough...just requires crawling under the truck, removing the TOP plug, and using your small finger (mine won't fit) or other object (like a q-tip because the fluid is red and shows up easy on white) to stick in the hole to see if the fluid level has dropped...
If your RPM is higher than it should be at idle, you may have issues with vac lines or sensors that needs to be addressed...your tranny and clutch may be fine in these cases...
