Hey, I have a 1987 Ford Bronco II with a manual tranny. I just took the shifter apart trying to find bushings that were shot or something like that. I ofund out on this site that i have a different tranny then the newer bronco IIs and i have a teflon ball. the ball itself is kind of scuffed up and scratched at the bottom, but the plastic box that covers where the shifter goes into, the area with the fluid, is broken. I think this may be the problem, but i have no idea because i dont know the name of that part. There is a plastic piece inside that box that looks like it directs the shifter where to go, but on the side closest to the trunk of the truck is broken. i could upload pictures if anyone needs to see them
