1994 Ford ranger xlt supercab 4x4,
I really looked all over and didnt find a thread that shows the position of the contact disc.

Problem: no change in the motor position tested with the ohm meter pin 8(common) pin 4,5,6,7.

After taking my shift motor apart I found that I had to break the plastic edge around the contact plate.

the contact plate is no more glued to the housing.

Where can i find the correct position to reglue it?

help please

Well I give up on finding the correct position, went to a scrapyard asked them what other truck/year has the same motor, and they asked me too many question, what type of diff, transmission, abs, bla bla bla.
Went into the yard looked at several trucks and found an 1996. Looks almost the same but had to insert the brown wire and the magnet wires (blue &green) set it up on the truck and it works.
Took it out on the gravel and its all good. Later when dark I find the 4x4 light is on but dim ( not engaged)
Could it be I need to rotate the sensor?
