I have lost the bolts used to attach the shift motor to my transfer case. Does anyone know the right size bolt? I have a 2002 ranger FX4. Thanks for any help. Winter is about here and I really need to get this thing put back together.

8x1.25x ~20mm.

PM me your address and I'll send you them.

8x1.25x ~20mm can someone please explain these numbers to me? is 8 the head size 1.25 the pitch and 20mm the length? cause 20mm seems really short to me... I was going to go to lowes or somewhere and buy them but want to get the right thing.

8mm shaft diameter. 1.25 thread pitch. 20 mm would be the overall length. The bolt head is 10mm and usually has little relationship to the shaft diameter.

Take the motor with you and buy bolts that stick about 1/4" though the motor.
