would a 2007 ranger 5spd shift lever fit into the base of my 1995 5spd transmission? looking on microcat (program for looking up parts) it seems like it will match up but i dont wanna sink money into something that won't work.

It should. It's the same trans.

Yep, that's one of the great things about Ford trucks--not a lot changes from year to year, or even decade to decade, LOL!

sh*t guys i forgot to specify that it was a shifter outta 2007 FX4 level II ranger - hopefully this doesn't change cuz i really like the design..it'd go great with my new console i'm gonna build :icon_cheers:

The FX4 shifter are nice. It should bolt right up, its the same trans.
