I'd leave it alone, you're lucky if it's still stuck, every RBV I've had did the notoriously popular and annoying "shift knob that falls off in your hand" trick...

Haha Mine did that for a while. It did it with my brother was driving. He was shifting and it fell right into his hands. He was freaked out for a little bit. But I got a good laugh!

My friend had switched the trans and t-case shift knobs and he told me once someone got into his truck and said they were really confused why that his shifter was too low...
