I have an 01 edge with the 5r55e,I would like to install a transgo shift kit but since i have the extended warranty that ford offers would the kit void it if i needed to get warranty work done to it? Thanks for any info

I would say..check with the warranty people...they may consider it modifying transmission...but then again the only 1 that will know if it had a shift kit in it would be the repair shop when they dismantle it to rebuild it.

Depends on what failed in the trans but more than likely , yes warrenty would be denied.
Like if a EPC failed, should be covered but if a forward clutch let go, no.
