How hard you plan on pushing these subs, as hard as you can, or just with what you got??

I just looked at the specs for my sonys and they actually have a 5in mounting depth, so I can go up to 5, maybe a little more

I would like to be able to go all out every once in a while, but most of the time I just like a little bass

If you want all out, take your 1000W sony and bridge it to each memphis ( you will have to get another 1000W sony) This will be at the subs' power rating and they will perform best. Memphis are awesome subs, but if you push 1 watt about rated they will blow like no tomorrow, they are delicate subs with minimal room for error, but they sound awesome!! Also, Memphis has a break-in period, play them at low to moderate levels, they will smell like they are burning, but this is normal during the break-in period. I did an expedition with 4 Memphis 10's and it slammed!!

That amp will not handle that low of an ohm load (2 ohm mono). You will have to run it series bridged, or run it regular...

and if you buy memphis online you don't get the warrenty. you should buy them local if possilbe. me i live right below memphis tn and i can usually find them on sale for cheaper..

probably around 150 or so a piece. depends on how hard i look. memphis is high, but high quality

we got a local dealer who supports memphis the most but they also deal in alpine, powerbass, eclipse and i think kenwood. they usually have sales and you can pick up most subs at 10 percent off, right now you can buy 2 memphis 12''s a box, and a memphis amp( not sure how big) for 500 bucks. memphis is good i had a mojo, wish i wouldent of sold it.

hahaha mojo's are amazing if you want major bass... i wouldn't use mojo for just wanting a lil bass and full range of music..

yea on a 1000d it was crazy, i had the box built to the specs at the memphis dealer, talk about rattling your balls off, it was crazy, oh how i miss it.
