So i heard a little about fliping the shackles in the rear to gain hieght and flex. I have read alittle about them its just i don't know enough about them to do it. What shackles do I use what do i need to do to get everything ready to go?

you loose 2" or so flipping the shackles on a ranger...

get the Belltech lowering shackles to lift the rear about 1.5", autozone has an option for cheaper...

^^^ The shackles he's talking about are chevy lowering shackles; belltech 6400 2" lowering shackles I think will work. Or any generic.

Thanks guys I didnt really know you could do that untill recently thought i might give it a try.

with longer shackles be aware that the mounts on the frame are fairly weak, when I rolled my truck the mounts bent which offset the axle over an inch to one side... drove VERY strange on the way home

if you have a welder, yes, just add some more material

Yes sir i do. So just reinforce the shackle itself or the frame? Cuz that's what i will be what im doing essentailly right?

look at the shackle mount to the frame, you'll see what's weak, just add a couple gussets from the mount to the frame, there's plenty of room

plate the top with angle too
