I'm going to be replacing the shackle bracket on the driver side of my truck and have a questions that I still have after reading the article in the Tech Library.

Since it has 2 bolts and 2 rivets do I try to take the nut off and reuse or grid them off and put in new bolts?

I would replace the bolts. After 17 years the rust will have taken a lot of strength away. At least up here where I am.

New bolts all around. Just make sure you grab grade 8 bolts and nuts to replace them.
