but after a little winch tug on the rear and a little patience, I was back off the center, and back trying to fit...

and attempted Valve Stem, Grape Vine, Killin' Time, and Lower Profanity... It was just too wet for my itty bit of horsepower

Suzy trying to get up Lower Profanity. Didn't help that greg baker took his buggy up it right before she did. He wollered it out pretty good. lol

Trip was pretty good. Met some awesome people, drank some damn good white lightnin', and my truck stayed together. Overall I'm happy with it. Harlan is starting to get REALLY rutted. All the trails I tried this weekend, I made back in November. Glad the Ranger is getting the V8...

The End

SGT Ex has moved on to a new family. Sorry to see her go, but know the next family will have a good time with her. Pulled the rear hatch and the hood, to make a piece of wall art. Ex was by far the best rig I've ever owned, and I hope the new owners will enjoy it as much as I have.

went to an older guy who couldn't handle the beating and banging around of his Sami. Been talking to the guy a while now, and he really wanted it. Ended up trading it for a SBF powered TJ. I plan to take it from a pile of shit to driver/weekend wheeler. Once I start getting some updates going, I'll start the thread for it. I appreciate all the interest everyone, and some good news, D is being picked up Sunday :icon_hornsup:

Great, another f@&$in jeep I gotta work my majic on! LOL I know the new owner will enjoy it. I'll let you know when my shop empties out so we can start on the new wheeler...

Cant wait to see what a Jeep can do with a Ford guy driving it.

rick will be working out all the kinks with Project FJ. Plan is to install explorer EFI and overdrive trans, and get all the electronics working as they should.

The jeep has a ford motor, trans, and ford Dana 44 & 9". So its just a jeep body that's left. Josh already spent the $$ to have a stretch done, as well as fine tune the suspension, he just doesn't know it yet, so don't tell him :D

Well, I just seen pics of the jeep. Stock suspension, stock axles, hacked up motor swap and hacked up body to fit 35s. When Josh comes to pick up D Sunday I may have to call EMS to come remove my foot from his a$$...

Grumble.
Jeep. Grumble.

Probably has a d35 rear....lol jk

does have the stock 35 rear, and 30 front. I'll have the ranger axles in the rig before it goes back to Rick

As far as the hacked up stuff, at least its not good parts that are sacrificed. Is the heep in much worse shape than Ex? Yes. Can it be fixed with used parts cheaply? absolutely. Guy also delivered the heep, picked up the sploder, and threw in a springfield .40 with about 200 bucks worth of ammo. considering I was asking 5k for Ex, i think it was a fair deal.

could you at least put a Ford badge on the back of it when it's done?!?

Robert

sent with a gasX pill and broken monkey wrench.

Yep. And it will say "powered by Ford" down the sides of the hood where the rubicon sticker is on heeps

Something decided it wanted to come back home :D
