I always use a ball peen hammer to remove balljoints. That and a 1/2" extension around 12" long.

To remove them from the inner Cs or to remove them from the knuckle?

From the knuckle. I use the ball end of the hammer. (It works only if you have good aim lol). Undo the snap ring and it pops right out with a coulpe of swings.

Figured I'd take some pics. I got the stubborn castle nut off, and after have a dumbass moment on how to remove the ball joints (it's been about 2 1/2 years since the last time I've done this...) I finally got everything changed out. I decided to take a little extra time and clean up the parts and add a coat of paint to everything.

Also got both driver side doors painted and ready to mount up. Now looking for a new hood.

Also picked up some new break pads. One decided it was tired of my driving

And here is how she sits tonight. Going out with the boss, so had to quit early.

Tomorrow hoping to get the housing cleaned up, the rest of the parts, then get her all back together. Tearing into the rear axle next.

Back together can't tighten the bolts, so gonna get a buddy to help with that.

Also started on the interior. Anyone who has ridden in this thing knows not to cruise with the windows up. Why? Because it stinks. Bad. The carpet has gotten wet, pissed on by cats, mud, stuff has spilled all over it, it was just gross. I only drive about once a month and always have the windows down, so I didn't care. Well, now I couldn't handle it anymore

Lookin good! When you say it's back together but you can't tighten the bolts, what exactly do you mean?

all the bolts and nuts are finger tight on the front end. I hyperextended the muscle that runs across my left rib cage. I'm pretty much useless right now. I ate like 4 600 mg ibeprophens while working on it last night

a little tapping around with a ball peen will loosen up the hard sound deadening. I left mine in for awhile but it started breaking and coming up in spots revealing very sharp and pointy edges. Not safe with the kiddo climbing around in it and in the summer with flip flops
