sending unit/fuel pump help plz!!!!!1

ok so i have a 84 ranger with a 2.0 carb engine. i have an engine out of a 87 ranger with a 2.3 efi that i am gonna build for a turbo. now my question...the 2 liter has a mechanical pump on the engine and just a 2 wire sending unit in the tank. i think its returnless. i dont know what fuel pump i should use. in tank with a diff sending unit or a universal in-line with the same sending unit. i have the ecm and wires from the 87 also. thx guys

oh and i searched and went thru all 27 pages of the forced induction forum and found nothing really of any help
