The vent selector is not selecting correctly, if I put it on "vent" it will blow half out the vent, half out the defrost. Same with the "feet" setting.
On my Mustang when this happened, it was a vacuum leak. But I can't even find the vacuum line for the heater in the 3.0.
What could this be?
Thanks!

damn i thought this was something bad....like pulling on the amber bach and bud light was comming out......

whew! carry on.

might be a stick/yard debris in there....not sure if those are electic or vac controlled.

though its harder for yard stuff to get on the cowl of late trucks....but mice drag shit all over.

Funny man.

How would I check that easily? It is snowing out right now.
This could wait until it warms up, the heat still works fine. Just not on the right vent.

not sure on those, the earlier ones are a bitch so those may be a pia moreso.

if its warm inside and i can see, i would wait till its nice out.

If it is a vacuum controlled heater doors there should be a storage tank in my jeep it was in the front bumper and the rubber line to it was cracked not allowing it to hold pressure that way when you change the heater settings it dont change engine vacuum. See if you can find a cannister with a couple vacuum lines going to it?

Mine did the same thing once. One of the lines going to the vacuum resirvoir get melted or somthing. Easy fix sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere and when its warmer the pinhol/leak material is expanding enough to close up the gap but in the cold contracted enough to allow outside air in...

So this problem is back again, now it is permanently stuck on feet and defrost. Even if I turn the A/C on, it only blows out of feet and defrost.

Check the lines going to the orb storage tank under the air cleaner
