I have a 90 and I really like the 2nd Gen front end but also love the first Gen front. What's yalls opinions?

I am biased towards first gens, about the only thing I prefer on second gens is the cowl panel (holes -vs- slots). That said, if I had a second gen the only way it would get swapped is if it needed the parts anyway. Something like a deer strike or front end collision.

Well, when I finally start working on it and doing the engine swap and suspension swap, I'm going to pull the whole front clip off anyways. I love both front ends, but really love the look of a lifted first gen.

Dude it's your truck, if a first gen clip will make you happier with it then do it. You don't need us to justify your decisions

I've always thought that the 1st gen looks more classic while the 2nd looks more tough truck style.
