Has anyone ever succeded in putting a second battery in a ranger?
I have a 2004 Ranger XLT and have looked under the hood and tried to figure out where and how and could a second battery fit?
Even with some modifications I still can't see it.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this thought?

Thanks
Roger

i have up to four batteries at a time depending on what i am doin

WOW !!, I just don't think i can squeeze another battery under the hood of my 2004 Ranger But i will be taking yet another look now.

oh.....they aint under the hood. i need two batteries just to start that cold blooded bitch....especially if its on 100 percent tranny fluid.

Easier to mount a battery box outside the frame rails under the bed in front of the rear tires.
Secured in the bed is good, but loses bed space.
Cables are easy to route, mounting doesn't have to be under the hood.
