second attempt with tach

Ok, I've read through several threads about the tach conversion. Im pretty sure I found the dial that baddad mentioned to tune the v6 for a v8. I cut the t/y wire and now wire from my msd box is in it's place. Plugged it in and nothing?

Shoot I was hopping that some one had helped you on this cuz my I'm havin issues with my tach too.
