Ok, I have been thru the tech section about what seats will fit and my pick n pull here has a bunch of mustangs, but not much for anything else on the list of seats that bolt right up. My question is, is there any specific years of Mustang seats that fit or are they all pretty much the same? The yard has them ranging from 1984 thru 2002 if that helps, don't know if they are GT models or not until I get down there. My truck is a 92 regular cab.

The GT fox body seats are generally the most preferred of the Mustang seats.

I am honestly not sure how anything out of an SN95 or later body will fit.

Great, Thank you.

The fit, but if you have a single cab, you wont sit comfortably in them. The problem is that the pillow style headrest on the mustang seats doesn't clear the back window. So you have to adjust the seat so it doesn't hit the window, but by doing that, you make the seat sit upright. By doing that, it creates a very uncomfortable ride. I bought black leather mustang seats for 150$, which was a steal, and I took them out because I was getting lower back pain by sitting in them like that. The only way to fix this issue, is to replace the pillow headrest with the halo style head rest. You can find some used for about $40 per seat on Ebay. Kinda of high I know. But that would work.

Now if you have a standard cab, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

I would recommend going with explorer seats from an eddie bauer or limited edition.

I actually found a set of ranger seats at my local junk yard for 50$ for both. And they were in good shape. Happy mine now.

Single cab and standard cab are the same thing.

yes correct!

I meant to say extended cab!

Thanks
