I have a 1989 Ranger Standard Cab, is it easy to Ford Explorer seats in it? and what year would be the best? or does it matter?
Also, is it possible to put an 86 dashboard into my truck?

Thanks.

You can bolt most any Ford seat to your brackets and sliders.
You may have to tap an existing hole in the bottom of the seat.
I have '93 Exploder seats in my Ranger bolted to stock bucket brackets out of an '84 Ranger.

If you have the 60/40, its not an issue, you have both sets of brackets.
If you have a bench seat then you have to find the 60/40 brackets or stock bucket brackets from your gen.

The dash I don't know about.

Good luck

Rich

Putting an 86 in shouldn't be too bad. Just get the Hayne's manuals for both trucks to get the wiring diagrams so youcan compare.
