Seat options for my 2000 Ranger

My Ranger needs new seats. Every time I think I have come up with an affordable option it crashes and burns. I have a nice set of bucket seats out of a 96 Eddie Bauer F150 that I completely disassembled, cleaned, repaired and reassembled. I really want to use them because the match the interior perfectly, and I already have them. But the damn seat sliders are the issue. I have tried several different sliders from other Fords and nothing works with my floor board and those seats. I am just looking for some ideas here.

You have to reuse the same seat sliders that were in your year/cab style ranger.

I tired. The have to be too heavily modded to fit those seats.

From what i know nothing else will fit the floor shape. So no matter your going to have to mod. You may get lucky with a mustang or explorer seat rails being close to the originals but your still going to have to mod.

I was wondering about Explorers. I found a real nice set in the salvage yard. I would really like to use the set I already have though. I am just not seeing how to make it work.

There is only one way garrentied to work ok and i all ready said it. Explorer seat bolt up to the ranger tracks with little modification.

If the truck is extended cab, the explorer seats should be an easy swap, along with many other seats. The regular cab trucks require much more work to get seats into.
