hey i have 60-40 seats in my truck right now and want to switch to bucket seats how hard would that be?

Are you talking about converting the 60 into a bucket or putting buckets in the truck? Cause the 60 is actually a bucket seat with a hoop welded on for the extra section. You can pull the seat cover back, hacksaw or cutting wheel will take that hoop off, cut the foam and poof! 1 bucket seat.

Also the frame mount holes are the same for bucket or 60 seat.

Its quick and easy to convert your 60.I did mine last weekend and it took all of 20 minutes.

Easy as pie. I grabbed a set of X buckets, bolted them right to my original tracks. I started with 60/40 splitter.

Its easy. I got some heated seats from a explorer and they bolted rite it. I also grabed the center consol and that bolted rite in. The upper temperature and direcion thing is nice to and i reccomend geting that. I should have pictures somehere in my build thread.

98 60/40 seats into a 90 regular cab.

Does anyone know waht my issues might be with replacing my one piece bench seat out of my 90 Ranger, regular cab [mannual shift], with a 60/40 from a 98 Ranger?

I used 60/40 tracks out out of a 94 to put nissan pulsar buckets into my 85 with a bench. The tracks for the 60/40 bolted right to the buckets.
I belive the floor pan will be the same.I cant remember if the holes were there for the inside bolts thou,it was a few years back.
Take a look at the 2 floors and see if the contour and bolt location are the same and go from there.
hope this helps.

ok on an 03 your gonna have to get the rails out of an older truck. or spend alot of time with a grinder/drill to get the old seats off the rails to put new seats on. it is a PITA trust me. I have 07 mustang seats in my 03 and it was alot more work than with my old 93.

I guess a better question would be; What would be the cheapest way to get seats, that have some sort of headrest, in my 90 Ranger [mannual floor shift]? Im looking for cheap and easy to install as well. But also, I want something that is relatively easy to find in good condition. Too many demands?

Have a question need to know if i can put bucket seats into a 1985 ford ranger reg cab & take out my bench seat do to a v8 engine conversion with a c-6 tranny with a b & m shifter & where the place of my shifter is & I'm only 5ft tall & can't put my bench seat up to where I need it to really reach my pedals to drive the truck. If I can what year truck or suv & model I can use the bucket seats out of to put into my 85 ranger reg cab.
