Hi All

Some of you will know that I live in the UK but I have a 98 Regular Cab Stepside Ranger.

For quite a while I have been looking to change out the seats.

I have managed to purchase some seats from a 99 UK Spec Explorer North Face model.

As you can imagine the runners don't line up.

I have enclosed some pictures to demonstrate the issues.

My initial question is:

Should I modify a set of Ranger runners (if I can get any over here) and fit those to the Explorer seats, or should I modify the Explorer runners and seats i.e. plates etc.

Secondly, does anyone have a set of Ranger runners they could sell me please?

Thirdly, has anyone done this swap or similar?

Thanks in advance.

Seat mount locations must be reinforced so no he cant just drill new holes. In an accident he'd run the risk of tearing through the sheet metal and that would not be fun...
