Hey guys, lookin for some sage advice. The passenger side seat belt pretensioner has started going f*cky. It won't disengage. I can pull the seat belt maybe an inch then it locks up. Any one had this issue? As of now the seat belt is unusable, and my buddy I usually carpool with isn't too stoked, just means he has to drive his lifted f350, poor guy.
Thanks for any help.

Pretensioners are the pyrotechnic charge that is attached to the seatbelt receiver. During a crash where the airbag deploys, the pretensioner goes off, tightening the seatbelt to hold you against the seat better.

Sounds like your retractor is hooped...not really much you can do to fix them other than replace them.

Thanks sasqu, I managed to fix it. And this is not my normal style, but i just started ranging on the damned thing. Grabbed it, and it slid right now. Note to self, force does work, sometimes....
