I know there are many threads on this topic and I don't think this is the usual question...

I bought some Seafoam and was wanting to pour it in through the vacuum line that goes to the break booster. Is this safe? I asked a guy at O'Reilly's and he looked at me like I was stupid but I'm pretty sure I did it on a different vehicle I used to own years ago.....so I just wanted to know if it was safe to use that way and if not what is another easy way to do it without having to disassemble everything?

Yes, it's the recommended way on the can. It wont hurt your truck, but it does run pretty funny without the line connected. It made me laugh when I did it.

Just pop the line off and let it suck the fluid in.

You can also put it in your gas, and in your oil. I put 1/3 of the can in each (vacuum line, gas, oil)

Just got done putting it in, let it sit for 5 minutes then let it run for 2-3 and not a single bit of smoke....WTF? Surely the motor is a little dirty after 18 years of use...

did you put it in the gas tank too?

Did you stall it out then let it sit? And also after you start it you gotta rev it high, like near red line.

I added mine to the vacuum line and then let it sit, started it and I barley got any smoke, like 2 seconds worth of medium smoke.

How long did you let it sit? I did it on my 06 and had a decent amount of smoke...
