Yes, Shamokin PA. The surrounding area is very nice, driving through the town itself makes me want to go scrub down with steel wool.

I looked at more than one place out in Coal Township when we were looking for our first house though.

Oh please...steel wool. You're forgetting the power washing, bleaching, and acid bath steps. It is pretty bad.
I almost bought a house there just so I had a place to stay when we go to AOAA. They were only asking $8K for a 3 bedroom. The wife said we don't need a 3rd house.

I saw it for sale a couple years ago. It still doesn't have a correct, valid title, and it never will. It should have been returned to Ford to be crushed. Some shady dealings surround that truck's history. Of that there is no doubt.

My stance on Shamokin is as follows:

If I was from New Jersey, I'd kill myself. If I was from Shamokin I'd tell people I was from New Jersey.
