so ive noticed that since i put the chevy leaves on i have had really good flex, but the rear seems very rough. like when i go over a speed bump it feels like the rear jumps back at me. anyway i looked underneathand saw that one of the overloads is on backwards, but im not sure which one. does anyone know if ranger overload leafs stick out further from the center pin to the rear? or further from the center pin to the front of the vehicle? and also are they supposed to be arched right side up like a rainbow, or upside down? thanks

I ditched them all together on my 63" chevy's.

I've read that when you put the Chevy leaves on to ditch the overload leaves.

BTW how much lift did it give you when you did the Chevy leaf mod., and how hard was it to do.

They should follow the arc of the rest of the leaf pack, but mine are aftermarket leaf's and they're the same length on both sides of the pin....

with two 63 inch chevy leaves and 1 ranger overload plus a beltech 6400 shackle i got about 4.5 inches of lift i believe. it waspretty easy to do but you have to get creative if you want to keep your E - Brake

thanks, that helps quite a bit. how come you didnt use a rangeroverload?

E-brake.......the one on my truck never worked when my dad got it and thats been 10 years. Mine doesnt have any of the stuff for the E-brake.

id say save up and buy the front lift and do the chevy's in the rear. can you look under your truck and tell me whether the overloads stick further to the rear from the center bolt, or further to the front? please, it would really elp, ill give you a rep point.

they stick out further to the rear.

they stick out further to the rear.

yeah i remembered that when i put the chevys on they were six inches longer in the front, which made them equal length from the center pin, right after i asked that question. awesome im giving you a rep point anyway

I'm doing a SAS soon so screw the TTB lift.

My TTB is worn out plus I love the look of a SAS. I got the D30 for FREE too!!!!!

There is a reason for that...its a crime to charge someone for a d30......

No the guy got a woman and his wheeling and fun days came to an end. Better then my worn out TTB front end, it never stays in specs. Its not like I'm going to actually be doing any real wheeling and whatnot.
