I have three screws on each lock out on my D 44 that I need to tear down and rebuild. any ideas to get them out? I have tried pb blaster and easy outs. Getting ready to drill them out if nothing else.

drill the head off then slip hub off and unwind the rest of the screw with pliers

Yeah that was my next plan. I will get on it in the morning

Drill the heads off. Not hard to do.

Impact driver with a phillips head bit on it usually gets them out for me if they are stuck or the screw head is in crappy shape.

got one side off today. I will take the home to work and counterbore the hole again to give a flat bottom. I was able to turn the screws out by hand after I got the hub off.

yea i doesnt take much to drill the heads off then get them out by pliers

They are out. The one thing that I was worried about was drilll too deep. Now that they are off I see that was not a problem
