I know probably nobody else cares ahha.

Good job.

But, I have to ask . . . . what were you doing taking the ACT in 7th grade?

Lucky you. I got a 19, twice. English is what held me back. Math and Science I exacceled at.

a lot of school districts offer that to get kids prepared for taking it. It's amazing how knowing what to expect can help your score.

I never took it in 7th grade, but I took it in 3 times in HS. From the first to the second time went up 3 points.

Congrats! What school you thinking of going to?

I believe I got a 24 my first time around (which was good enough to get into Michigan Tech), my math was I think a 27. That was in 10th grade, and I had never seen trig yet (math program in my HS sucked), I looked at it and was like "what the heck is SIN, and what's that squiggly line supposed to be?" :icon_rofl:

ya i think i got a 24 the first time and a 26 the 2nd time

I got 24 and that was good enough for the Marine Corps

Congrats. I got a 24 the first time and a 27 the second time. Math was the killer for me, got like a 17 or something really low. I did really well with English/writing though. I was in the top 1% of people that took it.

Nice job man.

The first time i took it i got a 27 also. The second time i got a 30 and get bright flight scholarship for it. So i recommend taking it once, maybe twice more. Just study and you will do good.

First time got a 27. Second time got a 28. Third time I was stoned as hell(for the first portion at least) because I was pissed my ma was making me take it again and still got a 27. WTF...?

Somebody else answered it, but ya, it was a program through Duke University. Called TIP (Talent Identification Program).

really interested in some ivy leagues along east coast, a few schools on the west coast. money is a huge problem, but alot of them have football teams, and are in need of intelligent football players, and i fit that!

sent my scores to (in order)
duke
cornell
brown
berkely

Yeah I remember the Duke TIP now that you mention it. Don't remember what I scored then. My last score was a 30...english has always held me back. Scored perfect ACT/SAT Math, you can do the math to figure out the verbal I suppose. I'm just glad I was out of HS before that 'writing' section BS came about.
Stick with it man is the best advice I can give.
I was national merit scholar and had the schools by the balls so to speak, but due to life events and lack of interest I had given up long enough for none of that to matter anymore. But I'm back at it now and happy....I just wish I had stuck with it the first time! Much easier to learn when I was a hair younger, and soooo much cheaper.
