scored a sweet deal on a 302 and a 306 yesterday along with a ton of other parts! this is now a v8 swap! woot!

traded two racong seats i had guy just wanted the stuff out of his garage the blue block is bored 40 over, the other one is a stock 302, set of gt40p heads, carbd victor jr intake, couple cams one is a comp 280h :) other is a stock cam, an aode with a converter, and some other misc parts guy said if he finds anything else he would call me and i could have it. Im like a kid in a candy store!

The .040 block I would either have sleeves put in, or pass it off to someone else. I personally don't like using a block over .020 as cooling can be an issue. That is a sweet score you got though, good job! What's your plans for the build?

I know im going to be running a carb (dont try and change my mind) lmao, I already have the intake and all, and i know i want to run the gt40 heads i dont think i want to run the 280 cam i like the waty the b303 sounds I want a little lump but dont want to go so drastic that i need to buy new pistons.
was wondering if anyone could give me a little insight as to what i would need to do to run the b303 cam with a stock block and internals with the gt40p heads I know springs and retainers ect would need to be done but can i run the stock pistons without clearance issues and what rocker arms and push rods would i need or what would be best. Im not trying to build stupid HP but I do want it to run good.

as for the bored block ill prob re sleeve it later on and re build it to make better HP but who knows i may end up trading it for other parts for the other motor i never know what im gonna do next.
