alright guys, i've been gone for a few days so i haven't had time to work on the truck but i'm back now, so it's on! i'll get some pics posted asap

so i set my mock up block in place with my motor mounts bolted in and found out that nothing lined up like i had planned ..... I tried adjusting the motor mounts as much as i could but no luck. The problem i was running into was when i marked the holes for the motor mounts, they weren't sitting perfectly flat on the crossmember, and now when i bolt everything in they kinda pivot upwards making it too tight for the sbc to slide in. Time to get the welder out....

whats the specs on the motor, or better yet, give me the number off the back off the block, behind the head on the driverside. its where the trans bolts up, youll see it.

and show some pics of the mounts ya made. im getting ancy.

im in talks for getting some stuff for my ranger to give a little more ummfff

The motor mounts I made didn't turn out as good as i planned so I'm still working on those before I post any pics. I had to take a break from the truck because it seemed like everything was going backwards but I plan on hitting it hard tomorrow, I wanna get these motor mounts done!

well here's the mounts i was trying to use, but they're not going to work...back to the drawing board

get the frame pads for a 1962 impala 5.3 off ebay or www.show-cars.com

those will work.
