cam rams didnt work? the camaro manifolds usually work with some light frame mods.

alllllllrrrrriiight blackwidow, time for an update. I got the long tube headers, they're definately a no go. I would be better off with the shortys. At this point I think I'm going to go with the manifolds. I've heard the ram horns flow pretty good, and I won't have to take nearly as much out of the frame as i would have to with the headers. You might want to do your mock up with your headers or manifolds bolted up to your motor...would have saved me some time

i tried but they didn't turn out very well. The tubes hit the frame rail and the cross member underneath the cab

how did they fit around the seering shaft and all that?

is it something that some notching would fix?

i don't have my steering shaft in, so i don't know. As soon as i saw it hit the cross member I knew that I wasn't going to be able to make it work so i just pulled it back out and threw it back in the box! Those ram horns aren't very popular around here either...kinda sucks

if you cant find em, i have the set you need.there the ones that angle back to clear the crossmember.

ill port and polish em for ya, and re-stud them, and throw in a set of copper gaskets for the shorty headers.

let me know what you find though.

how much $ do you want for them? I haven't paid for the headers yet, and didn't really plan to if i'm not going to keep them. I'm pretty good friends with an owner of a auto parts store, so it works out pretty well for me sometimes!
