i built this freak of nature to run at a dirt drag track here in my home town and to run the river bottoms where i live.
track didnt work out and they closed the bottoms to 4x4's and atv's
ive got alot of work in this thing and i want to freakin drive it so i had to tone it down a little so i traded the tunnell ram and carbs, 351 heads (hogged out with 202 valves set up for the funny gas) for a holley street dom. intake and some 289 closed heads,sold the 60's i just scored(got a eb 44 to put in later)

As a 4-banger guy, I can appreciate that engine bay! Hate to hear about the bad news, wheeling spots are kinda hard to find around me, too (close enough for my truck to drive to, anyways). The setup is sweet, I bet it really rooster-tails the soft stuff!

WOW! I haven't seen a set of anodized valve covers in years. I would have loved to hear that run. I can just imagine you revving it up and my gas tank going empty with yours.

they still sell them,ive always liked the look of them on a blue engine and alum. intake.
it was pretty thirsty,i only drove it around in a field a few laps with that set up.
