went out to the desert for a weekend and smashed on truck katie just like i want to do to the real katie. stuffed my tires into my front fenders a bit, but cut everything so they clear now. also stuffed into my bedsides and cracked the paint a bit, but i got supplies to pull them. also managed to crack my evap canister under the bed with one of my cantilever arms. bad idea since i have to smog the truck before september lol. final addition was to at least primer the fenders.
and a friend out there took these night shots for me. long exposure, so my parking, dust, and license plate lights look bright as shit. LED bar is also on in the second pic
thanks!
spent the weekend playing with my soldering iron.
top switch controls the LED bar, bottom controls my dust light.
finally solid mounted my amp (got a new one which is why) and tucked most of the wires. need to solid mount my sub box then tuck those, and find a better ground that's hidden.
also, Jason at GMR stopped by my work with a set of these for me. they bolt to the stock location but push the entire hanger back like 1 1/2"
yeah it's pretty awesome. i've learned a lot and the guys i work with are rad as ****. it makes coming into work every day a lot easier than my last job. the only problem is that i now want one of our LT kits and race hubs... stupid trucks spending all my money for me! haha.
got bored, took a pic of her sitting at work. she's dirty as hell. one lucerne trip for the memorial run, one trip to ocotillo last weekend, and no wash prior or inbetween.
