I happened to be driving the truck around an noticed the trans wasnt poping when you try to get into gear it goes right off into gear and i didnt use the tranny fix stuff, but i have to keep water in the raditior or my temp light on the dash comes on, would a blown head gasket cause the truck to over heat an it has no power i have to floor the pedal to get it to run 50. How far into the motor do you got to go into the motor to change the head gaskets.. can you do it under 100.00 bucks.whats the cheapest a best quality head gaskets someone has bought?

All the way to the block, im there right now. Most likely if your gaskets are broke your heads are cracked too...

Well if you keep having to put water in the rad, then you are loosing it somewhere. That could be either a blown head gasket or cracked head (or both). That could also explain why it isn't running good, with coolant making it into the cylinders it may be misfiring. A blown head gasket/cracked head may also cause your temperature gauge to fluctuate.
