pretty freakin' cool story!! yeah, does sound out of this world and too good to be true, but dangit, you never know! Pretty neat man. Pics?

If it were me, I'd be calling it "The Copper Penny" and it'd be getting painted a copper tone of color. And a shiny brand new unissued penny somewhere on the interior....on the shifter ball...maybe a custom glass or plastic clear ball with a penny on the inside or something like that would be pretty neat and pretty freakin' unique, yet not too gay and tacky.

Just alittle update since I was on last.
After a few months of searching I was able to locate the Roush "Thunderbolt Style" front bumper on craigslist for only $200 new in the box with the fog light kit. I also fitted the truck with RaceStar 15"X8" 5.5 backspace wheels in the rear with a 275 60r 15 tire clean and tucked in the well in the rear and a 15"x4"s in the front. Also talked to a friend of mine at MAC exhaust and got one of their cat-back systems for now on the 3.0 to give it a nice note for now.I improved the stereo by installing a 2 12" inch Kenwood sub box, 1,000 watt Kenwood 2 channel amp and a nice Kenwood deck in the dash. I replaced the corner lenses with clear ones in the front, new factory headlights and 4300k HID bulbs.

Now for the engine,

Got a wrecked 04 Cobra that was hit hard in the rear but the car only had 50,000 miles so i snatched the car up at a killer price. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

Here is some pics before the some stuff with the clear corner lights. Like I said I'll take some tomorrow with the new exhaust and wheels.

Thanks, Slowly but surely she will go together. Now if I can find a company that makes a cowl hood I'd be really happy. from the measurements Ive been taking, looks like I'll need one.

Alittle update for everyone,
Since I last posted the Ranger has gone through a few minor changes . After getting a good offer on the Race Star rims, they are no longer on the truck. I replaced them with a set of 16" 2004 Mustang V6 polished 5 spoke wheels. To let everyone know, These rims fit the truck with no problem as long as you have the correct centercaps with the exposed lug nuts .
With the mileage now at 230k the only thing I had to do to it was swap out the transmission due band breaking in the original unit. Also during the swap I noticed that the truck had an aftermarket stall converter in it! It was a ProTorque 2,200 rpm stall converter. I called ProTorque and spoke to the owner Joe to verify this info. Found it really odd that a parts delivery truck was fitted with a stall converter lol.
The Cobra drivetrain still sits on the engine stand waiting to go in the truck due to buying a house and that is kinda priority right now.
I have say this truck is by far an amazing pick up and love everything about it. It's my daily driver and she let's me down and I have taken it everywhere from NY to FL on vacation and numerous times to the drag strip to run bracket racing.
