Alright guys a little help please. I am prepairing to do a leaf sprung d30 swap on my 94 super cab 4x4. And I was wondering what has to be cut out and what needs to stay. Thanks in advance!! :icon_confused::icon_confused:

I would do coils, 10x easier and the truck is setup for it too unless the axle isnt coil sprung. Take a look at my build thread and see what i had to do, the link to my build thread is the click me in my sig.

The axle is a leaf set up. And I have all the parts for a leaf set up. So money wise I gotta roll with it. I will start a build thread soon.

94's still had the TTB, correct?

If so, there is no need to cut anything. Everything that has to come out is either bolted or riveted on.

Things that have to come out:
1. TTB axle. Two bolts(pivot points), plus coil springs and shocks and brake lines, plus steering linkage.
2. Radius arms. Two nuts. No need to remove the radius arms from the axle, just pull it out as a unit.

Optional:
1. Coil buckets. 3 or 4 rivets per side.
2. Radius arm mount/crossmember. 3 or 4 rivets per side.
3. TTB pivot brackets. 4 or 5 rivets per bracket.
4. Sway bar.

I pulled it all out.

I ran my lines down my long arms. Basiclly, I can have my front axle swing under my truck and touch the rear tires and still have front brakes. And it cost half the price of doing extended lines and I have no flex limit either with them.
