sas questions

2"x.250" DOM. Length depends on your application. The most logical place for my crossmember was between my doubler case and my t-case. That put my arms at like 47" from the floor to the eye of the joint (pic where they're standing up on the shop floor). They're a little long, but not too ridiculous. Though they are covered in rock rash, I don't think I'll bend one with my wheeling style. Here's a link to a pic so I don't muddy up your thread with pics of my truck haha.

Man my truck was so clean. Just a fair warning, your body panels have a tendency to deform a bit after you complete the sas :)

wow your truck is clean! do you know where i can order the dom tubing cheapest? my friend can get it for me at wholesale but only in 25 foot pieces and since it looks like ill be having different sizes for steering and radius arms i really dont want to go that route

I know ballistic fab sells it by the foot, you should check them out.

Correction - WAS clean haha. It still cleans up decent but its not so straight anymore.

I got my DOM from a local steel shop. Shit's not cheap that's for sure. You can get it from an online vendor but you'll be paying big bucks to ship it. I'd look around and see if you can find anyplace locally that doesn't require a minimum order.

haha yeah i dont know why im fixin my body and inside up, i know its gonna get all beat up. but yeah i was talkin to a guy on here who lives close ill have to ask where he got his. btw i got my front axle all cleaned up and primed today, next week ill have the gears for the front and i can start putting it back together. slowly but surely im makin progress

well another question about coil buckets. i have the eb stock coil buckets. can i mount them at stock length or will i need to shorten them? keep in mind i am trying to get some good flex

You'll know when you have your old frontend torn out and you're mocking up the buckets.
