i got my swap all done i have 78 bronco axles. but my brakes suck. i might have a bad master cylinder but i was wondering if anyone does a master cylinder upgrade for the bigger axles?

probably the master and booster. F350 MC will bolt right in and all you have to do is change a flare fitting.

make sure you go up in piston size. bigger piston equals more fluid going to the brakes. just going from a 1" to a 1 1/16" internal piston provides a 20% increase in stopping power. try a mc from an f250. not sure if itll bolt up but its worth a shot.

in my 84 B2 i got a booster from a 94 explorer and a MC from an 86 F350 (bought new).

the only mod you will have to do is enlarge the holes slightly on the MC... by about 1/8" and change on of the flare fittings by cutting it and putting on a new nut/reflare.

other than that, everything bolts together, just ajust the nut on the booster shaft and bolt it together. Mine stops my truck on 40's w/ the D60 dual 2" calipers on front, and 13x2.5" drums in the rear.
