SAS 95% complete, flex shots

cool, yours looks good:icon_thumby:

if that was aimed towards me, thanks.

I was just showing you how i did my leafs w/ rear shackle. Your truck looks like it has quite a bit more lift than mine does though.

Yes it was! I like your approach angle better than mine, A LOT.:icon_thumby: How much shim did you need to adjust your pinion? that was my biggest concern, and why i did mine the way i did. What did you do for brake lines?

going to run 36's for now and 38's later on down the road, that'll help my approach angle too, not a big concern as this is my dd/weekend rig....(for now)

I think i have a 6* shim. Its solid steel, bolted on then i welded it to the pads. Brake lines i just took off the stock rubber lines, and had some braided stainless lines made and put them into the stock locations. Independant lines are better than the style you are thinking about, IMO.

What did you use for leaves?

I'm getting a little scared trying to figure out how much lift I'm gonna end up with....

But 36's would look about perfect on yours so I think I outta be good on that... I was planning on running bout that size...

And you used the stock wheels? This is going to look too familiar... except 10x cleaner than mine.

Looks good. I like that skinny tire look. And plus, what did ya have a BK. I seen that cup in the third pic. :D

Im startin my sas on my 1st gen in about 2 weeks, did you make those brackets for the front leaf springs? I was thinking about welding a belltech 6400 shackle for the front and maybe a regular shackle mount for the back. Think that would be fine?

Chance, they are 4" lift springs for an explorer. 6" shackle.
